This HORIZONTAL SCOURER is a newly designed machine that integrates features from multiple scourer types. It is used in conditioned (wet) wheat cleaning systems to remove dust, wheat hair, and embedded dirt or sand from the grain grooves. Its abrasive action also crushes mud balls and breaks hollow grains. After scouring, loose material must be aspirated off the wheat kernels before advancing to the next cleaning stage—ensuring improved hygiene and milling quality.
